Dr. Tao Hu invites applications for fully funded PhD Research Assistant position starting in Fall 2025. The GRA will primarily focus on two recently funded National Science Foundation (NSF) projects, which aim to integrate human behavior with disease models to enhance preparedness and responses to health crises (e.g., the COVID-19 pandemic). Applicants with backgrounds in GIS, Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or any related area are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who are highly motivated, proficient in GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS Pro), familiar with quantitative methods, comfortable with programming, eager to learn, hardworking, and interested in an area related to Dr. Hu’s research focuses, including:
